The Fields of Mistria calendar runs through four 28-day seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. For version 1.0, the most important fixed dates to plan around are the four implemented annual festivals: the Spring Festival on Spring 17, Shooting Star Festival on Summer 28, Harvest Festival on Fall 10, and Animal Festival on Winter 10. Weekly town life adds Friday Night at the Inn, the Saturday Market after its story unlock, and player-initiated weekend dates. Birthdays matter too because they provide one of the best opportunities to accelerate friendship with a well-chosen gift.
This page is designed as a practical planner rather than a dump of datamined calendar entries. Some event names have appeared in game data without being playable in the current release, so the tables below separate implemented activities from content you should not plan a save around yet.
If your main goal is relationships, keep the Fields of Mistria Gifts Guide, Romanceable Characters list, and Heart Events Guide open alongside this calendar. For farm planning, see Fields of Mistria Crops.
Fields of Mistria festival calendar
These are the four major annual festivals implemented in the current game.
| Season | Date | Festival | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spring | 17 | Spring Festival | Prepare during the first half of Spring and leave the festival day open for the event. |
| Summer | 28 | Shooting Star Festival | A major romance date opportunity; the date portion requires sufficient relationship and story progress. |
| Fall | 10 | Harvest Festival | Plan gifts and relationship progress before the festival if you want its romance interactions. |
| Winter | 10 | Animal Festival | Prepare ranch animals if you intend to participate in the animal-focused activities. |
The Shooting Star Festival is especially important for romance planning. Current calendar documentation states that its date component requires the Beautification Project story quest and at least 4 Hearts with the romanceable NPC you want to invite. If you are pursuing a candidate, do not wait until Summer 28 to begin raising hearts.
The calendar can also contain or expose names associated with unreleased content. Community documentation currently flags events such as Cooking Contest, Beach Day, Crop Festival, Halloween Festival, Gift Festival, and New Year's Eve as not implemented. Treat those entries as development or datamining information rather than playable 1.0 appointments. The safest SEO and gameplay rule is simple: plan around the four festivals above unless a later official patch explicitly adds another festival.
Weekly events and routines
Not every useful calendar activity is a once-per-year festival. Mistria also has a repeating weekly rhythm.
Friday Night at the Inn
Friday Night at the Inn is a recurring town gathering that develops through several storylines. It is useful even when you are not chasing a specific cutscene because many townspeople gather in one place, making Friday evening a convenient relationship stop. The 1.0 update added an additional Friday Night at the Inn storyline after completing the Mines storyline, so players returning from an older Early Access save may find new material after they thought they had exhausted the sequence.
Saturday Market
The Saturday Market runs weekly on Saturdays after completing the Repair the Bridge story quest. It is valuable for rotating vendors, gift shopping, cosmetics, recipes, and other items that may be inconvenient to obtain elsewhere. Version 1.0 also expanded this area with the Saturday Market Plaza quest and added Stillwell and Zorel to the market ecosystem, so old Early Access market guides may be incomplete.
Weekend dates
After choosing the Dating route with a romanceable NPC, player-initiated dates can be scheduled twice per week: once on Saturday and once on Sunday. This makes weekends unusually crowded from a planning perspective. A Saturday can potentially involve the market, a date, gift shopping, and other errands, so decide your priority before leaving the farm.
Romance candidate birthdays
Birthday gifts are one of the easiest calendar events to forget. The table below focuses on the 12 marriage candidates because these dates are the most useful for players following the romance system.
| Season | Date | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Spring | 4 | Ryis |
| Spring | 16 | March |
| Spring | 25 | Caldarus |
| Summer | 10 | Balor |
| Summer | 16 | Reina |
| Summer | 26 | Juniper |
| Fall | 3 | Hayden |
| Fall | 9 | Celine |
| Fall | 20 | Valen |
| Winter | 3 | Eiland |
| Winter | 12 | Seridia |
| Winter | 18 | Adeline |
Use the date as a preparation deadline rather than the day you begin searching for a present. Put one loved or easy liked gift in storage several days beforehand. For example, our Adeline Gifts Guide recommends preparing for Winter 18 in advance, while the March Gifts Guide can be used before Spring 16.
Birthday planning becomes more valuable when combined with ordinary relationship habits. Talk to the NPC on normal days, give one useful gift when convenient, then use the birthday as a concentrated boost instead of trying to recover an entire relationship route at the last minute.
Wedding dates and festival conflicts in 1.0
Marriage makes the calendar more important than it was during Early Access. Version 1.0 introduced weddings, wedding planning, marriage, and post-marriage routines. Shortly after launch, patch v1.0.3 added an important scheduling restriction: Spring 14, Fall 7, and Winter 7 can no longer be selected as Wedding Days because they are festival setup days.
| Date | Wedding status in v1.0.3+ | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Spring 14 | Unavailable | Spring festival setup day |
| Fall 7 | Unavailable | Harvest festival setup day |
| Winter 7 | Unavailable | Animal festival setup day |
NPC Studio explained that saves which had already selected one of those dates could interfere with the associated festival in that year, although the festival would work normally in later years. On a current version, the game prevents you from selecting those setup dates in the first place.
If you are already at 10 Hearts and preparing to propose, read the Fields of Mistria Romance Guide before choosing your wedding timing. Proposal, engagement, wedding planning, and marriage are separate stages, so reaching 10 Hearts does not mean you should stop checking the calendar.
How to plan each 28-day season
A simple seasonal routine prevents most avoidable misses.
- Day 1: scan the whole month. Mark the festival, birthdays for characters you care about, and any relationship or collection goal that depends on the season.
- Prepare birthday gifts early. Do not rely on finding a loved gift on the birthday itself. Keep one dependable option in a chest.
- Work backward from festivals. If a festival has a heart, quest, animal, or item requirement, give yourself at least several days of preparation.
- Reserve Friday evening when useful. Friday Night at the Inn is an efficient social stop and can contain story progression.
- Check Saturday priorities. The market, dating, shopping, and requests can compete for the same day.
- Finish seasonal collection goals before Day 28. Crops, forage, fish, and bugs can be season-sensitive. A missed single-season collectible can mean waiting through the rest of the year.
- Review the calendar before proposing. Wedding scheduling now has explicit festival-related restrictions.
This routine matters because the calendar connects almost every major system. Farming is seasonal, many collectibles are seasonal, villagers have fixed birthdays, festivals occupy fixed dates, and relationship activities compete for weekend time. Treating the calendar as part of progression is more effective than checking it only when an NPC mentions an event.
What appears on the farmhouse calendar?
The farmhouse calendar is your in-game reference for villager birthdays and major scheduled events. Weekly activities such as Friday Night at the Inn and the Saturday Market have historically not been displayed in exactly the same way as fixed annual calendar events, so memorizing the weekly rhythm is still useful.
If a website table and your updated game disagree, trust the current game. Fields of Mistria has continued receiving patches after 1.0; for example, v1.0.3 changed wedding-date behavior after release. Static guides should therefore be treated as planning references, not as a replacement for the current save interface.

Each season lasts 28 days. After Day 28, the next season begins and seasonal crops, forage, fish, bugs, outfits, and activities can change.
What day is the Spring Festival?
The Spring Festival is on Spring 17 in the current implemented calendar.
What day is the Shooting Star Festival?
The Shooting Star Festival is on Summer 28. If you want its romance date content, prepare the required story and relationship progress before the final day of Summer.
What day is the Harvest Festival?
The Harvest Festival is on Fall 10.
What day is the Animal Festival?
